Background of the Chandrayaan Program:

Chandrayaan-3 was launched on July 14, 2023,from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, India.The spacecraft was carried into space by the powerful LVM3 rocket,which is one of ISRO’s most reliable launch vehicles.

After the launch,the spacecraft entered Earth’s orbit and gradually increased its distance from Earth through a series of orbital maneuvers. Eventually,it was injected into a lunar transfer trajectory that carried it toward the Moon.After traveling through space for several weeks,the spacecraft entered lunar orbit and began preparations for its historic landing.

Components of the Mission:

The Chandrayaan-3 mission consisted of three main components:the Propulsion module, the Lander, and the Rover.

Propulsion Module:
